CASA of San Mateo County recruits, trains and manages community volunteer advocates — everyday citizens who are appointed by a judge to advocate for the safety and well-being of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and/or neglect. CASA volunteers (CASAs) stand up for these children and change their lives.
