In-Kind Gifts

CASA volunteers are not reimbursed for the cost of activities they share with their child. For that reason, our volunteers are reassured that their time is the most valuable gift. However for special occasions, CASA volunteers do like to treat their foster child to an extra fun event or outing. We are grateful to receive tickets to community events, plays, sporting events and movie theatres so our volunteers do not incur too many out-of-pocket expenses.

Foster children rarely have a chance to experience normal childhood activities and celebrations. CASA volunteers are often the only adults who remember and celebrate a foster child’s birthday. For that reason, gift cards to local stores (e.g. Target, Old Navy) are greatly appreciated. Gift cards are especially needed around the holidays.

Vehicle Donations

When you donate your vehicle, your gift helps kids in need. Donate through V-DAC. We are registered under the name CASA of San Mateo.
