June is Pride Month
We often talk about the benefits that foster children gain from having a CASA volunteer, but this beautiful quote shows that the transformations are mutual. “In short, my life has been enriched by being part of a child's life as she learns and grows. Whatever hopes I may have once harbored about playing the hero in another's life have been subverted by the dawning recognition that my CASA child is MY hero, who inspires me through her growth, her challenges, and her life.” - Local volunteer
